  Correct installation, use, and maintenance are crucial for ensuring the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing a planetary gear reducer, please strictly follow the installation and usage instructions below and carefully assemble and use it.
  1. Before installation, confirm that the motor and gear reducer are undamaged and strictly check whether the dimensions of the parts connecting the motor and gear reducer match. This includes the motor's positioning lugs, input shaft, and gear reducer groove dimensions and tolerances.
  2. Unscrew the screws on the dustproof holes on the outer side of the gear reducer flange, adjust the PCS system clamping ring so that its side hole aligns with the dustproof hole, and tighten it with a hex wrench. Then, remove the motor shaft key.
  3. Naturally connect the motor and gear reducer. During connection, ensure that the concentricity of the gear reducer output shaft and the motor input shaft is consistent, and that the outer flanges of both are parallel. Inconsistent concentricity will lead to motor shaft breakage or gear reducer gear wear.
  In addition, during installation, do not use a hammer to strike, to prevent excessive axial or radial forces from damaging the bearings or gears. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolts before tightening the clamping bolts. Before installation, clean the rust-proof oil on the motor input shaft, positioning lugs, and gear reducer connection parts with gasoline or zinc sodium water. The purpose is to ensure a tight connection and flexible operation, and to prevent unnecessary wear.
  Before connecting the motor and gear reducer, the motor shaft keyway should be perpendicular to the clamping bolt. To ensure even force, first screw on the mounting bolts at any diagonal positions, but do not tighten them, then screw on the mounting bolts at the other two diagonal positions, and finally tighten the four mounting bolts one by one. Finally, tighten the clamping bolts. All clamping bolts must be fixed and checked using a torque wrench according to the specified torque data.
  The correct installation of the gear reducer and mechanical equipment is similar to the correct installation of the gear reducer and drive motor. The key is to ensure that the concentricity of the gear reducer output shaft and the driven shaft is consistent.
